During the mid to late 1970s, Al Blake sang and played harmonica for the legendary Hollywood Fats Blues Band and is one of the true progenitors of what has become known as West Coast Blues.  In this interview, Blake reflects on 35 years as a singer, harmonica player, song writer and producer.  Favorite quote: “We did it for one reason and one reason only, not to become famous, but to do right by the music.”  Al’s recent work is available on Delta Groove Records.
