Artist and multi-instrumentalist David Lindley is well known for his many years as featured accompanist with Jackson Browne. Lindley is also a cherished studio musician and has recorded with Rod Stewart, Bob Dylan, Linda Ronstadt, Warren Zevon and numerous others. During the 1960s, he was a member of the psychedelic world folk band, Kaleidoscope, and across decades, cross-cultural innovation remains the trade mark of his music, a diverse body of work that defies categorization. In his unique electro-acoustic style, Lindley incorporates an incredible array of stringed instruments including but not limited to Kona and Weissenborn Hawaiian lap steel guitar, Turkish saz and chumbus, Middle Eastern oud, and Irish bouzouki.
